My favourite part of the year is now arriving when after some consecutive grey days you suddenly get a sunny day and you notice the sun just stays that bit longer into the end of the day and you realise Spring is around the corner.
Out and about today Spring flowers are in abundance everywhere here in the South Hams. Banks of yellow daffodils and pale yellow clumps of Primroses. Camellias scattered around in sun traps, some just emerging while others are well away. Even the birdsong is getting louder.
