......to a perfect day. There was fragrant wood smoke in the air tonight, that just added to the atmosphere. A couple of people, probably late holidaymakers, strolled down to the water and threw a stick a couple of times for a black dog to fetch. He raced across the mud and seaweed to retrieve it but soon lost his enthusiasm. For him it has probably been a long day of fetching many sticks, so time to dream, doggy dreams.
